Aurum Pacific controls a portfolio of operations spanning greenfield exploration, advanced exploration and a brownfield mine re-development project. The company’s core focus is the development of two gold projects in Queensland, Australia:
- Restarting the underground Gympie Gold Mine (ML 50114) and exploring a consolidated permit package covering entire Gympie Goldfield (EPM 27228 and EPM 28416) in southeast Queensland.
- Exploring the historic Ebagoola Goldfield (EPM 26678, and EPM 27961 to 27964) in Cape York, Queensland.
Aurum Pacific’s mission is to build a portfolio of equity interests in significant, low-impact mining operations which deliver sustainable cash flow and support ongoing industries within its host communities.
Aurum Pacific’s operating strategy is to:
- Identify discovered mineral resources that have, for various reasons, been previously overlooked for development;
- Build a technical and commercial model of the resource to identify a pathway to development;
- Work collaboratively with regulators, host communities and other stakeholders to resolve commercial and regulatory impediments;
- Provide exploration and appraisal resources that advance the project towards development.
Aurum Pacific makes strategic investments separate to its mineral development and exploration projects. Aurum Pacific is the operating partner of Cape York Timber, a majority indigenous-run producer of sustainable native Australian hardwood timbers, as well as having involvement in residential and urban infrastructure projects across New South Wales and Queensland.
